High Holydays - Welcome to Guests / Non-Members Thank you for your taking the time to learn more about Temple Sinai’s High Holyday services. We are pleased that you are considering attending and we welcome your participation. We hope you find our services to be a moving experience and we also hope that this time together will provide you with an opportunity to learn more about us.
About Temple Sinai: We are a Reform congregation with a long history in the East Bay. Our beautiful sanctuary is almost 100 years old and is a historic landmark in the heart of Oakland. We are also a vibrant, progressive congregation that is committed to the cultivation of meaningful Judaism and a real sense of community. In addition to worship services, Temple Sinai has many diverse offerings including a Preschool, Religious School and Adult Education courses. We are also well known for our community-building programs and for our dedication to social action. Click here to order your tickets online. We offer childcare and a children’s program for the morning services of Rosh HaShana and Yom Kippur.
