Reflections on Growing Up as Children of Polish Holocaust Survivors

7:00 PM - 9:00 PMAlbers ChapelJoin us to hear author Grace Feuerverger discuss her new book, Winter Light: The Memoir of a Child of Holocaust Survivors. Grace grew up in Canada as the daughter of Polish parents who had survived the Nazi concentration camps. She is Professor Emerita of education and ethnography at the University of Toronto.
Following her remarks, three members of Temple Sinai's Children of Holocaust Survivors group whose parents were also Polish (Danielle Schanz, Estelle Baum and Joann Philips) will share their own experiences and engage the author in dialogue. The program will end with a Q & A from the audience and informal interaction with the speakers over snacks and beverages.
