We will be collecting bags of healthful, non-perishable food to assist families that may run short over the winter holiday break when their children will not be receiving breakfast and lunch at school.The bags will not be repacked, so a mix of items is preferred.  Please use reusable or sturdy bags. Start planning now and pick up extra tuna, peanut butter, cereal, rice, beans, pasta etc. when you shop.  

 

We also need a couple of volunteers with vans, pickups or SUVs to load up the  morning of Sunday, December 17, keep the bags overnight and deliver to the school in East Oakland on Monday or Tuesday, December 18 or 19.
