From Bimah to Broadway: 
How Synagogue and Yiddish melodies made their way to Broadway



On Saturday evening February 13 (erev Valentine’s Day) at 7:00 Temple Sinai’s Fine Arts Committee will present the 22nd annual Poets of Tin Pan Alley extravaganza.



We’ll sing a few songs, many of which will be very familiar, and learn how Jewish composers and lyricists from the Golden Age of Broadway brought their tradition into the popular music of the time.
