"You Gotta Have Soul: What Judaism's Five Soul Levels Mean for the Living and the Dead”

Judaism, and more specifically the kabbalistic view, teaches that there are five levels to the soul. These five levels are in constant movement during the times of a person’s life and most particularly at the times of death and after. This presentation will explore these five levels and how an understanding of them can be of benefit to each of us as we confront the aging process and ultimately our own deaths. This class taught by Rabbi Steven Moss will be primarily based on the 17th century text Maavor Yabok.
