Then attend this Zoom Session presented by Temple Sinai's Wise Aging Committee. Two Social Workers from Jewish Family and Community Services Anne Aronov, MA and Dee Madnick, MA will cover some of the basics on alternatives for senior living:

1. Definitions of the various kinds of senior housing and the services available at each level
2. What to think about as you consider moving out of your home
3. How to research your options; organizations that can help find you an appropriate placement
4. Resources to help with your transition

Anne Aronov, MA holds Masters Degrees in Gerontology and Arts Education and is a Certified Massage Therapist. She has been working with seniors for the past 15 years. Anne joined the staff of the Older Adult Department at JFCS in 2016, where she does private consultations and facilitates the Contra Costa Family Caregiver Support Program.

Dee Madnick, MA holds a Masters Degree in Gerontology and started her career working with older adults in 2001. Dee worked in Senior Living, including assisted living and skilled nursing and worked as a Case Manager for low-income adults. In 2014 Dee began working as a Social Worker for JFCS, where she manages the homecare program and does private consultations.
