WTS Cinema Sisters: Gentleman's Agreement, Fischer Library
Monday, February 24, 2025 • 26 Sh'vat 5785
3:00 PM - 4:00 PMFischer LibraryA reporter pretends to be Jewish in order to cover a story on antisemitism, and personally discovers the true depths of bigotry and hatred. Starring Gregory Peck, Dorothy McGuire and John Garfield.
“Gentleman’s Agreement” is as relevant today as it was in 1947 when it was made. Walking in someone else’s shoes, standing up for what one believes, and the risk of remaining quiet are as challenging as ever. Antisemitism is not going away any time soon.
