Temple Sinai's Access Committee, Social Action, and WTS invites all committee leaders and members,Temple event planners, and any other interested folks to attend From Inclusion to Belonging, a workshop on disability awareness on Wednesday April 10, from 6:30-8:00.

Temple members Denise Jacobson, Stephanie Eckhaus, and Hilary Altman will lead an interactive hour focused on heightening our awareness, in order to keep accessibility and inclusion in the forefront of planning.

“Since even before the start of the Access Committee, I envisioned Temple Sinai as a community where everyone felt at home—a sense that each person felt valued. The benefit of the concept wasn't just that we, as a Jewish people, had an obligation to "welcome the stranger," but also to enhance our perspectives for compassion for others and for ourselves and to think outside the box, stretching our collective and personal capacities to alleviate the challenges we face.
