UPCOMING POP-UP SHABBATS FOR DECEMBER - FEBRUARY 2017-18
We have several lovely pop-up Shabbat dinners planned for our Winter season! (December, January, February) Please email Joanne Rocklin if you are interested in attending any of them. She will get back to you asap to confirm, then a later communication a week or two before the dinner to discuss your meal contribution and info/directions to the host’s home. First come, first served! Indicate a first, second or third choice if you like. You may also attend several dinners, but we can only honor your first choice if we have an overflow. Click here for general info about the dinners.
We are always looking for hosts for our future seasons. Hosts don’t have to do ANYTHING except set the table, smile and greet guests graciously, and clean up at your leisure! We are particularly looking for new hosts in Contra Costa County, Castro Valley and Alameda.
We will be announcing our Spring Pop-ups for March, April and May very soon, but we do have a SPECIAL REQUEST.
The first night of Passover falls on Friday, March 30. Is there anyone who would like to host a Pop-up Seder on that date, for those of our congregation who are looking for one? The Seder can be any size or style you like. Alternatively, does anyone have an extra place or two at their Passover table? Please contact Joanne if the answer is "yes." And stay tuned for the Spring Pop-up Schedule!
