Launching a New Year of Community and Learning Lunches
Tuesdays, October 9 and October 23, 12:00 – 1:00pm, Albers Chapel
October debuts a New Year of Community and Learning Lunches at Temple Sinai.
Each month, we will host a Lunch and Learn on the 2nd Tuesday, and a Lunch and Culture on the 4th Tuesday. The catered lunches are open to all congregants and their guests. $5 suggested donation for lunch.
October 9: Lunch and Learn with Rabbi Mates-Muchin to encounter the Book of Ecclesiastes

Congregant Robert Schoen Shares Notes Along His Coast-to-Coast Walking Journey
Temple Sinai congregant Robert Schoen waded into the Atlantic Ocean on June 26 to complete a 170-day walk across the United States. His journey (temporarily interrupted by temperatures of over 110°F in the Mojave Desert) passed through 14 states and totaled over 2,600miles. Over a thousand friends, family members, classmates, and strangers read his nightly blog posts.Schoen’s new book, On God’s Radar, which chronicles his epic journey in photos, daily progress reports, and essays, will be published in early 2019 by Stone Bridge Press. Schoen, will speak about his experiences on the road and answer your questions at Noon on Tuesday, October 23, at the Temple Sinai Lunch & Culture in the Albers Chapel.
