Featuring music and dancing with the SF Yiddish Combo Klezmer Band, heavy hors d’oeuvres and specialty cocktails. Come in costume (or don't!). Eat, drink and have fun!

Celebration is $36 per person. Please register by Sunday, March 17. We may not be able to accommodate walk-ins for this event.

Purim Carnival
Sunday, March 24

Join Temple Sinai for a family friendly celebration of Purim on Sunday March 24th! We will have carnival games and attractions, food for sale and a Purim Spiel called The Barbie Megillah! (Based on the Barbie Movie). You will not want to miss out on all the fun! 

*Kesher will not be meeting on this day.

The schedule is as follows:

9:00 - 9:50am: Early Purim Carnival

10:00 - 10:55am: Megillah Reading and Purim Spiel: “The Barbie Megillah!” 

11:00am - 1:00pm: Late Purim Carnival. Each child needs a wristband for unlimited access to the carnival games and attractions. Wristbands are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Meal deals are $6 (includes hot dog, chips, fruit, drink and one hamentashen).

Bake Hamentashen for Purim!

The Baker's Guild is recruiting bakers to prepare several hundred hamentashen to serve at our Megillah Reading, Purim Party, and Purim Carnival.

Experienced hamentashen bakers: You are encouraged to sign up to bake 6 dozen hamentashen (or more if you are super ambitious!) anytime between now and Sunday, March 17, 2024.  

Less experienced hamentashen bakers: You'll find a link to recipes and a video about shaping hamentashen on the sign-up page. You might even try baking a batch (An excellent opportunity to share some quality time with friends or family!) before you sign up.
